For the start of Senior Spirit week, the seniors dressed up as senior citizens. As our last week as seniors, we decided to represent the senior citizen community and to make the best of the 2022 class, said Joleine Ciceron.

TALK ABOUT IT: Mental health awareness month is here and there is a lot of activities being planned, such as game days on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and a Talk about it table on Mondays and Wednesday. These activities will take place starting next week during lunch. Prizes will also be given out. Come and clear your minds.

FORMALITY: New inductees were appointed into the National Honor Society on May 23 as they said the NHS pledge and past officers were rewarded.

NEW BEGINNINGS: The scholarship award took place downtown West Palm Beach at the Waterfront Commons on Friday. Sephora Charles and Gabriel Gerig attended the event and were both nominated for the award. Gabriel won first place in the Community Involvement category.

MEMORIES: Canes came together to create a club where everyone from different backgrounds can share their differences and learn more about each other culture. Thank you to Gabriel Gerig, Mr. Lopez, Dr. Gira, Mrs. Banks, Mr. Dorvil, Mrs. Companioni, and Mr. Haines, Jonathan Eugene, Eirel Montinola, Cinthia Gonzalez, Linda Morales, Jennifer Geffrard, Adrianna Lizana, and Keane Andrada for giving everyone a chance to learn and be proud of where theyre from, said Pierre Monville.

SERENITY: On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Ms. Skinner will be in front of the cafeteria giving out treats and interacting with students for Mental Health Awareness Month.
