Advanced journalism students attended the 39th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Breakfast, where influential figures throughout Palm Beach County were in attendance, as well as students around West Palm Beach whom received awards for their contributions.

MODERN WORLD: The Hurricanes returned to the Florida Scholastic Press Association (FSPA) District 7 workshop, this year at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Nov.16. 
During the annual trip organized by Mr. Hanif and with Ms. Baker helping as a chaperone, students went to different sessions about Journalism and met professional and award-winning journalists.
