FUTURE NURSE ANESTHETIST: Luis Trevino, who graduated about 2 years ago has passed the NCLEX-RN. He was a soccer player and in the Medical Academy. He has updated me on his status over the years and returned last week to show me that he just recently passed the NCLEX-RN. said Nurse Graham. He is working in the Critical Care Department at Palm Beach Medical Center Hospital aspiring to enter the Nurse Anesthetist program. So Proud!.

AT PALM BEACH STATE: Nurse Graham and Nurse Cintron transported 31 Medical Academy Seniors to Palm Beach State College on Oct. 24. We visited the EMS & Fire, Pre-Law, and Nursing Departments. said Nurse Graham, Most importantly, we were able to have all students complete their applications and obtain valuable scholarship and admission information.

ASSISTANCE: Medical Academy director Nurse Graham, Mrs. Cintron and the LPNs volunteered with the Blood Drive on Oct.19. The Blood Drive was a success!, said Nurse Graham. It was truly a BLESSING to be able to give!.
I am so proud of Inlet Grove for doing their part to help save lives!.

DEMONSTRATE: Medical Academy Director Nurse Graham took the Junior practical nurses to the Riviera Beach Fire Prevention Fair to educate the community and showcase their skills, Oct. 15. I was very impressed as were the experienced paramedics and firefighters, she said. They stated that they loved the energy our students brought to the fair.

PRESENT: Mr. Ghassemi, Medical Academy Instructor, had his medical students showcase their powerpoints on health topics. You might think they are not at the college level at this point You may say they are busy with all different activities and not studying. said Mr.Ghassemi,  However, you cannot deny it when our freshmen students present a case about Cystic Fibrosis, Coronavirus, or HIV. We are all so proud of this young generation despite many obstacles they are facing.

TIME TO TEACH: Senior LPNs and Health Science Foundation (HSF) Sophomores collaborated Thursday, Sept. 20 where they taught and practiced taking vitals. The collaboration helped our SPNs (Senior Practical Nurses) become more effective educators, said Mrs. Graham, Medical Academy Director. Our HSF students were able to get a more individualized experience, it made a large task much more fun and stressed me out much less!.
