SISTER TO SISTA:  A visit to the Urban League for the 2017 Breast Cancer Awareness Month Luncheon was only one of the career activities on a busy Hurricanes Wednesday. Senior LPN TOP members helped prepare and decorate for this event. They also were presenters on self breast exam. Meanwhile, a new group of Culinary Academy apprentices landed at the Sailfish Marina: Shanoca Walker, Emma Joseph and Nehani Abreu. Back in Dr. Tellezs class, Medical Academy students Raymond Richards and Bradley Calixte were using technology to learn anatomy and physiology.

SUN SAFETY: Students Against Melanoma members attended the annual SAMposium at the Palm Beach Post on Saturday, Oct. 21. The event helps to kick off the year as club members help with the promotion of sun safety tips and practices.
