SPEAKING THE UNSPEAKABLE: Ms. Baker, Digital Design instructor, reflects on how womens role changed in the past 20 years and what Women’s History Month means to her personally. “I’ve seen a drastic change from being a young girl in middle school to now an adult women working in high school and going through college and corporate ladder of my working career. I’ve seen a lot more women be the forefront for a lot of companies, [and] having a woman in the presidential electrical ballet was major, that was history in itself”, said Ms. Baker. “[Women’s History Month] is a month that highlights all of the women in the world because women are the birth of a nation, no matter where it is in the world, nothing can happen without a woman. Women’s history month shines a spotlight on things that go unsaid or unforeseen. I’ll like to see change but I know they are already happening.

ALEXANDRA GRIMES :A Junior in the Pre-Medical Academy says , Womens history month means that we had a moment in life to show how strong a women are and what her capabilities are. Many would think just because woman are small and less stronger than men doesnt mean we dont have many powers. Most people dont see or think we have it and it affects me because i sometimes feel i dont have enough strength to do what a man can do and its given me the mindset that i can do anything to my ability and its describe my personality because i know im strong.
