RECOGNITION EARNED: The National Honor Society (NHS) held its Induction Ceremony in the Media Center during Period 1. The support of Dr. Banks, Mr. Myszkowski, Mr. McDermott, Mr. Valliere, Ms. Bell, Mr. Goldstein, Mr. Hanif and the parents were priceless and I am sure that meant a lot to the students, said Ms. Reyes, the NHS sponsor.

GIRLS V. BOYS: Oct. 23 during 3rd period in Chef Newmans level one class one group of girls supervised by Britney Campbell faced off against a group of boys in which I observed in a ready, set, cook challenge. The challenge to cook a dish using the main ingredients: chicken, sweet peppers, and rice. They had access to any other ingredients to put together a masterpiece of a dish. The girls group created a pan-seared chicken topped with a BBQ and citrus sauce and fresh sweet peppers to garnish. Judged by Assistant Principal for the class of 2021, Scott McDermott. The verdict was that the girls group had won.
