12 YEARS LATER: The senior class of 2024 have reached a milestone in their life, as they reflect on all the growth, work, and achievements throughout their k-12 experience. Family, friends, and many more have gathered together to celebrate this last chapter of an era with tears of joy, and laughter.

EARNED, NEVER GIVEN: Once every week in front of the cafeteria, soldiers from the US Marine Corps come to Inlet Grove to inform students of what they do and opportunities for scholars within the force.

CONFERENCE: Scott McDermott, counselor for the class of 2025, hosted a meeting for seniors on Jan 16, 2025, reminding them about their graduation requirements before taking a group photo.
12th grade Assembly
SCHOLARSHIP ALERT: Representatives Cliff Viner (Founder), Niki Knop (Executive Director), and Christy Charles (Administrative Coordinator) from Eda and Cliff Viner community scholars foundation visited Inlet Grove to speak with the Senior Class about opportunities for financial support. With their instructions, students learned about the steps to apply for scholarships and what to include in the applications that could help make a difference in paying for tuition and other college expenses.

CASH IN ON COLLEGE: Austin Havass and Bithia Meus from the George Snow Scholarship Fund visited Inlet Grove to inform students about applying for the scholarship. They discussed eligibility requirements, application deadlines, and the application process.

ALL EARS: Soulan Johnson, Vice President of Development & Marketing for the Urban League of Palm Beach County spoke to the Seniors about the vital role of voting for youth. Focusing on its impact on representation, policy influence, and civic engagement. Oct. 28. “I AM” embodies self-identity and empowerment, inspiring youth to recognize their strengths and highlighting the importance of embracing one’s identity for active participation in democracy.

FUTURE READY: High school students, parents, and middle schoolers were invited to come together at the Black Family Wellness Expo on Mar. 1 to explore higher education and career opportunities. University representatives and community leaders provided hands-on guidance on college admissions, career planning, and personal development. One of the sponsors Ms. Kora Jackson from the West Palm Beach Chapter of the Links stated her favorite part of the event is that "we can bring this to our community and people can learn more about their health, the proper way to do certain things, and coming out to have a good time.

PERSISTENCE: Inlet Grove students were celebrated for their outstanding academic achievements on Feb. 7. Those who earned straight A's and B's were recognized for their dedication and commitment to excellence, with parents there to celebrate their success.

CHRISTMAS SEASON: The Media Center showcases festive holiday displays, spreading seasonal spirit through its decorations.

UNTIL NEXT YEAR: As the semester comes to an end, the Art Club reflects on a year filled with color, creativity, and friendship. The final gathering on Dec. 11 was a celebration of creative expression and the bonds made along the way.

Things that interest me are photography, interior design, criminal justice, and the medical field. I love going out and being a helping hand.
