10 tips to help with anxiety
Anxiety is a disorder, a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome.
Here are 10 tips to help you with anxiety:
- Take a timeout. Do some yoga or listen to some music. Relax.
- Eat a well balanced meal. Do not skip any meals. If you are feeling hungry keep a healthy snack in your bag for later.
- Limit your caffeine intake. When a person has to much caffeine it may change your emotional state.
- Get more sleep. Going to school tired and stress is not so good for the brain.
- Exercise. This will help you feel good and maintain your health.
- Take deep breaths. Inhale and exhale slowly.
- Don’t aim for perfection. No one is perfect. Just try your best because perfection is not key.
- Count to 10 Slowly. Repeat, and count to 20 if necessary.
- Learn what triggers your anxiety. Why do you feel like you have anxiety? Is it just school? Is it work or family?
- Maintain a positive attitude. Do not let negativity take control of your life. When you wake up in the morning motivate yourself. You are the best you.
