Commitment and endurance are two things that can be found on Inlet Grove’s basketball court.

“It’s all about dedication,” said Coach Bernard as she viewed the Lady Canes basketball team from the sideline, encouraging them to keep pushing. “Only one day off can hurt somebody. You must have a drive to do a sport like basketball.”

Tryouts were held Oct. 24-27 and determined who would be on the 2016-2017 team.

Besides tryouts, there’s another big event weighing on everyone’s mind: the first basketball home game, set for Monday, Nov. 14. at 7 p.m.

Hurricanes can mark the date to support the ladies.
