Teammates, coaches, family and friends gathered in the auditorium May 4 to congratulate and watch Javery Clayton, Micheal Nunez and Kevon Burke sign off.

Javery Clayton signed to Brewton–Parker College with a half scholarship for basketball. He will be starting in August playing point guard. Javery plans on majoring in Business and Digital Design. “I feel good being the only child my mother has attending college with a scholarship,” he said. “I’m just glad to be making my mother proud.”

“When you are given an opportunity,” said Michael Nunez, “you might as well take it.” He will be attending Keiser University under a partial scholarship for soccer and will be majoring in Sports Medicine and Business. “It’s a dream come true,” he said. “I am the first one in my family to be going to college.”
