Music is played and listened to all around the world. It can be from a rap group like the Migos, or by a rap legend like Tupac, or maybe by a famous and beautiful singer like Queen Beyoncé. Music may come in all different languages too. From Spanish, Haitian-Creole, French, German and even Arabic.
However, the BEST top five trending songs come on the radio more frequently than any other songs. The song is heard about three times in an hour, which can either be annoying or fun. These are the top five trending songs so far in 2018.
5. Lucid Dreams by Juice Wrld
Juice Wrld, (real name Jarad Higgins) is a 19-year-old rapper born in Chicago, Illinois. The meaning of his song “Lucid Dreams”, is based on what the young rapper has said, “Lucid dreaming is dreaming but you being aware that you’re doing it.” This meaning that in those dreams have control of what goes on around you and inside your mind.
4. Better Now by Post Malone
Post Malone is a 23 year-old Texan raised rapper who has recently been involved in many near-death experiences. His new song “Better Now” explains about the relationship between him and his ex-girlfriend, stating in lyrics that he misses her and never met to let her down. “You know I never meant to let you down.” His ex-girlfriend has moved on from him and has no communication with his parents, friends or even him.
3. FeFe by 6ix9ine featuring Nicki Minaj & Murda Beatz
6ix9ine is a 22-year-old American rapper from New York. He is known for his uncommon appearance, arguable behavior and brute-force screaming technique in some of his songs. 6ix9ine’s one song “FeFe” is about a woman name “Keke” and he is talking about how she’s his lover. In Nicki Minaj’s part of the song she is giving shoutouts. She shouted out Tekashi (6ix9ine), A$AP Rocky, Khloe Kardashian and Tinashe.

Cardi B is a Hispanic and American rapper. People knows her from her song most famous song “Bodak Yellow”. Cardi B’s song “I Like It” is styled as Latin hip-hop, and she features a rapper, J Balvin, that only raps in Spanish. Cardi B’s verses on “I Like It” is all about what she likes and dislikes. The video has several dancers of African/Latin descent who dance away to the hot beat of the track.

Drake’s song “In My Feeling” is number one on the charts. Drake is a 31 year-old Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. His song “In My Feeling” talks about a girl that he used to like or had a crush on when he was a teen that’s called “Keke” or has a nickname like that, “Keke, do you love me?” Based on a Billboard interview, “…Keke referenced here was actually a woman by the name of K’yanna Barber…the connection to K’yanna makes sense as he follows up using just her initials of “KB” later in the verse.” The song “In My Feeling” by Drake was number one for six weeks straight, starting July 21 to present day.
