Senior spotlight
Before taking a 36-0 win against Florida Christian, the Hurricanes were recognized by family and friends during senior night.
Trenard Gains ran for a 10 yard gain, which led to the first touchdown by Manphanee Holmes, bringing the score to 8-0 with the two-point conversion.
Another touchdown was made by Alphonso McClain and a two-point conversion by Keron Ward which brought the score to 16-0.
McClain scored yet another touchdown as well as the two-point conversion, bringing the score to 24-0.
With six minutes left in the third quarter Maurice Law scored a touchdown which brought the score to 30-0.
Maurice Law ran for a 45 yard gain at three minutes left in the third quarter.
The fourth quarter started with two first down runs by Antonio Council.
The game ended with Florida Christian trying to avoid a shutout. They didn’t. Instead, Maurice Law broke loose for a long touchdown run to make the final score 36-0.
The Drumline, Cheerleaders and Dance Team kept the crowd entertained while they cheered the Canes to another victory.
