Ms. Pawlin the English teacher, second period class had to complete an “Escape Room” by using technology to help analyze quotes from Macbeth and follow clues in order to find the “keys.”

“They loved it and got so excited when they finally cracked the code,” said Ms. Pawlin.

Once the keys were found they then had to be unscrambled to unveil a character name.  The students then had to create an Instagram post which included a character analysis and then recreate the story of Macbeth with a new ending in a simpler version, as if their character had never existed.

“They had to show how the story would change,” said Ms. Pawlin. “The first group to finish received extra credit!”
