Why the ASVAB?
Junior and seniors took The Armed Service vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB).
The test is administrated by the United State of America Military entrance processing command.
It consist of different category such as general science, arithmetic reasoning and word knowledge.
“The test was so long, in my opinion it was not worth taking and my back hurts.” Ylean Rodriguez Zabala, said a junior in Engineering program.
Although, many student have extra time during a regular state exam extra time during the ASVAB is not permitted. The test begins at 8:30 a.m until 11:00 a.m.
“I think that if your going to the military its worth taking the ASVAB, ” Yorgelis Yamboo senior in journalism said,” although for most student it is beneficial as far as for me and my career taking the ASVAB isn’t beneficial.”
” The ASVAB is a career test, if students take their time they’ll know what career that is sued with,” said Mr. Banks,” It does not mean your going to the military.”
” I can make the whole school take the test but the test is beneficial to juniors and seniors because they are closer to graduation.” he says.
