OUT TO THE BIG BLUE: Mr. Rice and the Florida Fishing Academy, FFA, took about 40 students to go deep sea fishing approximately 30 miles out into the Atlantic Ocean and the Palm Beach Inlet. The students also took turns jumping from the rear end of the boat in the inlet.

GET YOUR LIFE VESTS:
The marine tech and other students went kayaking to Peanut Island and stayed there all day on Feb 19. The students went snorkeling, kayaking and, hung out on the beach.

EXAMINATION: The Medical Academy visited the Cox Science Center on Thursday, Mar. 9, to extend their surgical knowledge by dissecting frogs and observing other exhibits.

SHOW AND TELL: Mr. McDermott hosted the 8th Annual Car Show where past and new participants came to showcase their unique automobiles on Sunday, Feb. 26.

MAKE YOUR FUTURE: The Canes and other high schoolers had the opportunity to go to the Claim Your Future Showcase at the Palm Beach County Convention Center on Jan. 31. They had a chance to see many companies showing what jobs they offer.

Thinking ahead

AT PALM BEACH STATE: Nurse Graham and Nurse Cintron transported 31 Medical Academy Seniors to Palm Beach State College on Oct. 24. We visited the EMS & Fire, Pre-Law, and Nursing Departments. said Nurse Graham, Most importantly, we were able to have all students complete their applications and obtain valuable scholarship and admission information.
