The first half of the Inlet Grove Hurricanes’ Pink Bowl game slogged back and forth until the John Carroll High School Rams scored again with just over a minute left for a 14-0 lead.

Then a pick-six interception return with seconds left in the half had the Canes down 21-0.

It was downhill from there for John Carroll on the way to the Rams’ 42-0 victory.
