Pre-Architecture/Engineering

RISING CANES: Mr. Lambaz, Pre Architecture and Engineering instructor, took his students Jayden Sander, Sebastian Navas and Tony Kahwati, to Legislative Day in Tallahassee.
Our students, Tony, Sebastian, and Jaden did an incredible job advocating for our school, commented Mr. Lambaz. They had the opportunity to interact face-to-face with our house, representatives, senators and discuss some key points that needs to be addressed in regards to the profession.

CHALLENGERS: Pre-Architecture students like Zander Welch, left, and Jaden Alexander, right, competed in a SeaPerch underwater robotics competition on April 23. They were asked to create and design a machine that can perform certain tasks such as an obstacle course and a sub-aquatic space simulator. In all honesty, Im glad that we placed in 4th place out of the 20+ schools that were competing in this event, said Alexander.

HANDS ON: The Pre Architecture & Engineering students were selected to take part in the 2022 Underwater ROV Competition. The following students have done extensive research and shown incredible progress and skills so please approach them and pick their little creative brains because no doubt they will crush it and they are so proud of their accomplishments,” said Mr. Lambaz the educator.

IN SESSION: Principal Latson, Alyssa Freeman Executive Director of the Marine Industries Association,
Roodlyne Mason software developer and other directors gathered on Wednesday with a meal made by the Culinary Academy. Engineering students showcased their project to the panel of members.

MAKE YOUR FUTURE: The Canes and other high schoolers had the opportunity to go to the Claim Your Future Showcase at the Palm Beach County Convention Center on Jan. 31. They had a chance to see many companies showing what jobs they offer.

Thinking ahead

AT PALM BEACH STATE: Nurse Graham and Nurse Cintron transported 31 Medical Academy Seniors to Palm Beach State College on Oct. 24. We visited the EMS & Fire, Pre-Law, and Nursing Departments. said Nurse Graham, Most importantly, we were able to have all students complete their applications and obtain valuable scholarship and admission information.

THE VERDICT IS: The Pre-Law program and Debate Club traveled to the Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach History Museum to hold a mock trial and use the rest of their time to have some fun and wind down at Defy on Nov.17.
