Javian Mcgregor, a Junior in the Pre-Architecture/ Engineering Academy won male Student of the Month for September. 

“I was surprised I got chosen because I didn’t do anything that will make me student of the month,” said Javian. “Being student of the month is an accomplishment.”

Mcgregor said he sets an example for others “by just doing the right thing and staying in your place, but don’t step out of line and do something you’re not supposed to do.” 

Javian said he sees himself in 5 years as “a senior in college studying to be an electrical engineer and having a stable job.”

“I stand out as a student who doesn’t get into any trouble, do my work, and mind my business.” Mcgregor said.
