The game has become a movie released in theaters. Just like the game, it has been plotted into a filmed project released on Oct. 27. The gameplay of Five Nights at Freddy has the player play the role of a night guard in a security room connected to Freddy Fazebear Pizzeria, which is a fictional children’s restaurant.
The objective of the game is to use tools to keep the cameras and vents working to protect yourself from the animatronics that free-roam the pizzaria.
Director Emma Tammi is a filmmaker from New York. She co-directed the feature-length documentary Fair Chase (2014) with Alex Cullen and made her solo directorial debut in 2018 with the horror movie “The Wind”.
A security guard named Mike Schmidt was offered a job at an infamous abandoned pizzeria called Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria by Steve Raglan because he lost his job by assaulting a father whom he confused for being a kidnapper. He accepts this job because if he doesn’t they threaten to take his sister Abby and pass her onto his alienated auntie.
His first night was him dreaming of witnessing the kidnapping and murder of his brother Garrett who was taken away by an unknown man he saw 5 children who saw the kidnapping and just ran away.
The second night he is shown around the restaurant by Vanessa who is an officer. She told him the origin of the restaurant and said 5 children were murdered but they were never found. His dreams are constantly repeated and he woke up to him having so many wounds.
On the third night delinquents are hired to vandalize the restaurant just so Mike can get fired. But that was not able to happen because the animatronics Freddy Fazzbear, Chica, Foxy, and Bonnie come alive and murder each delinquent.
Next shift Mike brings his sister in and the animatronics are hostile towards Mike but friendly to Abby. It is said that the 5 animatronics are possessed by the children who were murdered. Mike then overdoses on pills and has a dream of the 5 children which tells him he can be with Garrett forever in exchange for his sister Abby.
Vanessa reveals that she is the daughter of the serial killer William Afton, who killed his brother Garett and the other children that he has under his control.
Jane is murdered by the animatronics and they kidnap Abby and hold her captive that is where Chica tries to kill Abby and Mike disables most of the animatronics before it’s too late. But is separated once again by his sister and attacked by Foxy but once again is saved by Vanessa.
As they try to leave the pizzeria Willliam confesses he has been posing as Steve Raglan and murdered Mike’s brother Garrett who is wearing the Spring Bonnie suit, mike is hit and wakes up to the animatronics back again. After all this Abby draws something and it shows William killing the children and Vanessa shoots him but she is then stabbed.
Abby shows the drawing to the animatronics and they turn on William and go after him and ruin his machinery. He is dragged into the room of the restaurant and gets locked away. Mike and Abby bring Vanessa into the hospital because she got stabbed and that led her into a coma.
Mike still watches over Abby and they return to living how they were before all this happened in the middle of the credits it is golden Freddy closes the door and enters the room where William is bleeding out.
