A look further, middle school students apart of Mrs.Green’s class wrote poems using metaphors and rhymes to what describes them the most. The winners chosen were William Serphilus, Luisita Bracero, and Benita Vic-Anurioha. Below is their written visual representation, which uses words instead of an image for a class contest to write a biography poem about themselves.
William
The tall, strong, dark skin boy who is almost the size of Mount Everest
Who enjoys spending time with his loving family and friends, who call him the cleverest
Who dreams of becoming a clever, rich gentleman and exploring the whole world
Relative of Wilner Serphilus, who is his amazing father
Lover of sports, hard math equations, and most of all his amazing, beautiful mom
Who feels miserable, frustrated, and sometimes always gots his head in the clouds
Who can read, do chores like cleaning the house, and feed my baby sister
Who dreams about becoming an Architect, a father, and a football player one day
Who needs money, his family’s support, and most importantly, his phone
Who wonders why the sky is blue and why life is as short as an inch
Who cares about his family and showing caring, compassionate care to others ,Who fears snakes like a mouse cornered by a cat
Who would like to see and smell the sweet aroma of Paris and Disney World
Resident of a delightful and beautiful home with a loving family
Serphilus.
Luisita,
One day in Florida
Who is creative, forgiving, and kind as a cuddly bear,
Who is the relative of one called Anthony,
Who is A lover of God, And is called by Creativity, and education.
Who feels the need to be Creative, and has the studious love of a crow
Who dreams of being a famous chef, and being a good creative Cook.
Who needs Education, Care, and forgiveness, Who wonders more about our universe, the Galaxy, and our World,
Who cares about Her family with a heart of gold, who craves her education
Who fears failing education, like a scared rabbit in her den,
Who would like to become an amazing chef, And open a business
On a sunny bright day, One day in Florida.
Bracero.
Benita
who is as kind, caring and playful
As a warm and nice kitten.
Relative of her favorite parents Mr. and Mrs. Anurioha
lover of books,
Lover of medicine and math,
And even the color yellow makes her bright,
Who feels happiness just like a quokka,
As joy who feels excitement, and nervousness because of love.
Who can sing because something inside her came to life, she loves to run like an athlete,
And make good friends that love her for who she is.
Who dreams that she would be a person who is smart and would have a big house in the future, because god is there.
Who always needs to exercise,
She also promised she could read 100 books in a day,
And even though some people don’t show kindness, her kindness can flow into the deepest soul of a person She was like a person,
Who wonders how people can think and create stuff as if their brains were computers, doing stuff on their own.
Who enjoys playing, relaxing, and reading for fun,
Who cares and will always care about her education and other people .
Who fear bullies and bugs,
Who would like to travel to countries and see many things.
