ENHANCING EDUCATION: On April 22nd, Inlet Grove hosted the "Live" Medical Symposium along with the TD Leroy Jefferson Society. A Medical Symposium is created for healthcare practitioners or anyone that seeks a better understanding of some of the most important health and medical related topics affecting patient care. The auditorium was filled with students and Medical Professionals from Palm Beach County, such as Jupiter, Boca, Boynton & Belle Glade, etc.

DEMONSTRATE: Mr. Hartung's JPN Class displayed life-saving skills to over 73 middle school medical students at LC Swain Middle. "We passed out our new brochure and we promoted the skipper program," said Nurse Graham, "LC Swain has also invited a couple of our other careers to come and "take over" the class for a day, which we hope to arrange soon. Thank you for letting your students participate! "

FUTURE NURSE ANESTHETIST: Luis Trevino, who graduated about 2 years ago has passed the NCLEX-RN. He was a soccer player and in the Medical Academy. "He has updated me on his status over the years and returned last week to show me that he just recently passed the NCLEX-RN." said Nurse Graham. "He is working in the Critical Care Department at Palm Beach Medical Center Hospital aspiring to enter the Nurse Anesthetist program. So Proud!."

DEMONSTRATE: Medical Academy Director Nurse Graham took the Junior practical nurses to the Riviera Beach Fire Prevention Fair to educate the community and showcase their skills, Oct. 15. "I was very impressed as were the experienced paramedics and firefighters," she said. "They stated that they loved the energy our students brought to the fair."
