WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME: During the Open House held on May 18, introducing new and upcoming students to Inlet’s careers, clubs, and sport programs, students and parents roamed the booths looking and listening for what each program has to offer.

CONSEQUENCE: Guest speaker Kevin Brooks came to the auditorium to share his story with the canes, to help them see the outcome of drinking and driving. In 2000, he was just 16 years old and he was drunk while driving. He got into a car collision and as a result the life of his best friend was lost. He became paralyzed, dealt with depression and began have suicidal thoughts. Although, later on recovered mentally, and began to make a change towards the better by informing others on the dangers of drunk driving.

Outcome

MEDICAL MADNESS: Armed Forces came to speak with Medical Academy students about the different programs they have and the benefits of joining. Sergeant Ferguson is demonstrating what intestines feel like.
