GRANDMASTER: English instructor Mr. Horn, is in charge of the Chess Club, which is held every Wednesday in room 503. Students and teachers who are interested, would come and play a friendly game of chess.

CONSEQUENCE: Guest speaker Kevin Brooks came to the auditorium to share his story with the canes, to help them see the outcome of drinking and driving. In 2000, he was just 16 years old and he was drunk while driving. He got into a car collision and as a result the life of his best friend was lost. He became paralyzed, dealt with depression and began have suicidal thoughts. Although, later on recovered mentally, and began to make a change towards the better by informing others on the dangers of drunk driving.

MUSICALE: Rock n roll band As You Were, performed in the auditorium to encourage and support Army enlistment on Feb. 2.

TO NEW BEGINNINGS: Main Office Receptionist Ms. Hernandez has graduated from Palm Beach State College majoring in Psychology. Ms. Hernandez advises Hurricanes to Enroll into college after high school, because going to college while an adult and working a full time job is very hard. But I feel I accomplished and did something I always said I was going to do. I feel like I made my family proud. She plans to continue on at Florida Atlantic University.

GO GET A PASS: Tardy passes were collected from the 2022-23 school year by Ms. Goldstein. Students Danica Ivey and Rose Medelus measured how long the passes stretched across campus. From the first building to third.

Late again

NO ACADEMIC CLASSES TODAY: Instead, the Hurricanes are enjoying fun activities in the gym, cafeteria, auditorium, softball/baseball field, basketball court and track, with food trucks and other goodies on the side. TIME FLIES, BUT MEMORIES LAST FOREVER: From elementary, middle, and high, seniors have achieved and overcome many things. Today they celebrate those things with tears, hugs, family, and friends as they turn their tassels to begin a new chapter in life.
