LET’S RIDE: On Jan. 18 along Congress Avenue and Blue Heron Boulevard the City of Riviera Beach held their annual Martin King Day Parade celebrating their theme; “THE DREAM AND THE JOURNEY CONTINUES: A CITY IN CHANGE – MOVING FORWARD”

TO NEW BEGINNINGS: Main Office Receptionist Ms. Hernandez has graduated from Palm Beach State College majoring in Psychology. Ms. Hernandez advises Hurricanes to Enroll into college after high school, because going to college while an adult and working a full time job is very hard. But I feel I accomplished and did something I always said I was going to do. I feel like I made my family proud. She plans to continue on at Florida Atlantic University.

NIGHTTIME CELEBRATION: For prom, the juniors and seniors gathered at the Hilton Hotel to celebrate the close of the 2021-2022 academic school year. For this years prom, the theme was a masquerade ball. The prom king and queen were awarded to Carlins Vincent and Cameron Wooten (see last slide).

MASQUERADE: Staff and administration came dressed to impress to support their seniors prom night. Principal Latson shown in the picture.

Educator gala

BEHOLD: Faculty and students are rehearsing, their scripts for My Teacher My Hero. Learning our scripts is very fun and were excited about this event, said Sierra Brown, a junior in the Medical Academy.

Preparation is key

CANES: Students from different cultures came together to help others understand the importance of their culture. This was a fun experience seeing all the different types of people from cultures come together and show off their tasty food. If theres one thing that can bring people together its food, said Pierre Monville.
