CAPTURING THE TASTE: On March 28, the Culinary Academy served appetizers to guests and students with many different flavors and styles in the Media Center for the Career Showcase. They were one of the best groups representing their career, said Keren Joseph, a junior in the Medical Academy.

SUNDAE FUNDAY: On Valentines Day, Feb. 14, students who have earned 500 or more HERO points can receive one ice cream during lunch from Culinary students. The topping selection included sliced bananas, whipped cream, Oreo crumbs, sprinkles, cherries, and chocolate syrup.

WOOD EATERS: Sherwina Cherilus, an Early Admin senior in the Medical Academy, and Elijah Goring, an Early Admin senior in the Web Design Academy, were conducting some maintenance for the garden by taking apart and throwing out termite-infested wooden planter boxes.

12 YEARS LATER: The senior class of 2024 have reached a milestone in their life, as they reflect on all the growth, work, and achievements throughout their k-12 experience. Family, friends, and many more have gathered together to celebrate this last chapter of an era with tears of joy, and laughter.

GRADUATES: The class of 2024 went on a yearly graduation trip to Universal Studios.

STAR SCHOLARS: Top performing Medical students visited NSU (Nova Southern University) and collaborated with the TDLJ Medical Society to learn how to be a good doctors for future patients on Nov. 10.

GUARANTEED GETAWAY: Morris College visited Inlet Grove, accepting and offering all Seniors a further education at their school.

Shes wants to explore both interior and exterior architecture. In a decade, she sees herself as an architect, creating designs for houses.

A STEP TOWARD THE FUTURE: We stand here today and entering a new chapter in life, some of us will go off to college and university and others will go directly into the workforce. Challenges will be ahead of us but I want you to take these challenges head-on and regardless of how you do it, people will always criticize you. The Great Hank Aaron had once said: “ The only thing that feels better than winning is when nobody else thought you could”. My senior class tonight we up ya hear me?. Words were spoken by the 2023 senior class president Eli Baptiste. The class of 2023 on the night of May 22nd did the very thing they worked for the past four years, so they walked the stage and turned their tassels to the right. They are longer students but young adults of the future.

Hello! My name is Keren Joseph, a junior at the Medical Academy, and this is my second year on staff. Despite my medical career path, I deeply love and adore the arts. I have a keen eye for creativity. My hobbies include drawing, singing, and playing my French Horn. In my free time, I like to make art commissions, listen to music, and collect photo cards of my favorite K-pop idols. My past includes memorable experiences in musical theater, chorus, symphonic band, digital art, and dance. My friends say I have an uplifting presence, ready to provide a helpful hand, and they're right. I adore helping people, whether it's a sympathetic ear, assistance with an assignment, or simply being present to make someone's day brighter.
