OPEN HOUSE: On Aug. 29 at 6 PM, Canes' parents were welcomed into the school to meet their children's teachers, with each class period lasting 10 minutes.
Acquaintance time
ISOLATION: The hurricanes went into their first lockdown in 2024. Students and staff were moved into the gym for their own safety. The lockdown lasted for 3 hours which caused students to miss a big portion of second through fourth period.

12 YEARS LATER: The senior class of 2024 have reached a milestone in their life, as they reflect on all the growth, work, and achievements throughout their k-12 experience. Family, friends, and many more have gathered together to celebrate this last chapter of an era with tears of joy, and laughter.

ONE DOWN, FOUR TO GO: Students participate in a "Mental Health Week" exercise hosted by Ms. Potter in Room 101 during lunch, earning one of the five "Get Your Green On" stamps needed to earn a raffle ticket.

SUNRISE TO NEW HORIZONS: In Aug. 17, senior Canes celebrate the beginning of the final chapter in their high school journey at 6 AM on Singer Island beach.

THE CANES WERE THERE: To end the school year, the Multimedia team took a field trip to Wekiwa Springs State Park to enjoy its crystal-clear waters and long, winding nature trails after another successful year of publications.

COMING IN LIVE: With the ending of exam season comes the unwinding last days for both students and staff. Hurricanes are rewarded with fun activities all around campus in tribute to the hard work they did this year. Multimedia Club members are covering Canesfest all day. Check back for updates.

Hi, my name is Lovely Marcelus. I am a sophomore in the Pre-law academy. A few of my interests and hobbies include reading mystery and thriller books and watching action shows and movies. I have been a part of Grovewatch since my freshman year. I love picking up a camera to capture a moment and maybe in the future go into the film industry or even become a lawyer.
