MAKE THAT MONEY: Jaleel Thomas, a senior in the Culinary Academy, received $500 to launch his business called “Chef Skills” and graduated from the Young Entrepreneur Academy (YEA), which taught students how to make their own businesses from scratch. Thomas’s “Chef Skills” idea was one of the 12 that was chosen for investment. Thomas plans to launch “Chef Skills” this month. (See previous story: “Jaleel Thomas, culinary business man.”)
