FOOD FOR THOUGHT: The Canes learned how to be more effective journalists during the annual Palm Beach Post High School Newspaper Workshop on Nov. 5 at the Airport Hilton.
The sessions included producing a newspaper front page and writing  lunch desert reviews that were critiqued by Food Editor Liz Balmaseda, a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner.

GO CANES! The pep rally kicked off multiple events that happened over the weekend as the Category 5 Hurricanes took on the Suncoast Chargers in the biggest rivalry game of the year, and next day was the Homecoming Dance.

FIRST GAME: The Girls Basketball team had there first game Monday against Forest Hill. JV wore Blue and played first at 4:30 p.m. and Varsity wore White, played at 6:00 p.m.
Varsity lost their game 42-29.

PLAYOFFS: The Canes made it to the first round of the play off games where they played against Bradenton Christian High School, but lost 33-48 and were not able to advance to the second round.
