Pay it forward
KINDNESS: is a way to show others that you care about others.
Doing something nice this holiday season can turn your world around, even if it is the smallest thing.
From letting a classmate borrow a pencil, to helping your teacher without being asked, those little things will make your heart glow.
Helping others is a sign of being nice to those around us. You know the saying: “What goes around comes around.”
That happens every day, without people even noticing it.
For example, on Dec. 5Β my mom stopped at the Dunkin’ Donuts on 45th Street to get some breakfast on the way to work. In the drive through,Β one lady was in suchΒ a big hurry to order, that she cut a driver off to get in line.
My mom let the driver who was cut off go in front of us.Β After my mom orderedΒ her breakfast sandwich andΒ was ready to pay,Β it turned out the lady in front of us had paid for my mom’s breakfast, in return for letting her in line.
This holiday season, people should be thankful for what others do for them. It might make your holiday brighter!
So really the question is: What will you do to pay it forward for the holiday season?
