SIC chooses Spirit Week themes
During the latest School Improvement Club (SIC) meeting, Oct. 13 in Room 203, Hurricane students’ focus was on generating ideas for Spirit Week coming up this week.
The following themes were chosen in voting by the dozens of students present, and have been approved by Dr. Emma Banks:
Monday, Oct. 26 – Blackout Day (Students wear all black)
Tuesday, Oct. 27 – Heritage Day (Students wear something representing their heritage)
Wednesday, Oct. 28 – Twin Day (Students partner up with others to dress the same)
Thursday, Oct. 29 – Class Colors Day (Freshman wear Black, Sophomores wear Silver or Gray, Junior wear White, Seniors wear Royal Blue)
Friday, Oct. 30 – Costume Day (Also Haunted House day.) Students can wear a costume. This is a jeans day as well. Students wearing a legitimate costume get in at NO charge. Students not wearing a costume and out of dress code must pay $1

Hola! I am Angie Garcia, a senior in the Journalism Academy, and one of the cool editors-in-chief of GroveWatch.com. I also am editor for the third consecutive...
A shout-out to Ms. Wiggins for thy artwork! 😀 😀 😀
Looks very cool! Nice work, canes!
As a senior, I would like to switch blackout day to Pajama Day! We all wear black every day. -_-
In addition, class color day should be where everything we wear is our class color.
