Angie Garcia, Co-Editor-in-Chief
Hola! I am Angie Garcia, a senior in the Journalism Academy, and one of the cool editors-in-chief of GroveWatch.com. I also am editor for the third consecutive year of our school’s Forecast magazine. I am skilled in all aspects of our school's Multimedia Wheel, from photography to videography, web design to InDesign. I joined the Journalism Academy to improve my writing skills and to gain more knowledge of the world. Among my many activities on campus, I am a member of National Honor Society, an executive officer of the Multimedia Club and a member of the soccer team. I also like playing volleyball and especially team handball. I enjoy classic rock 'n' roll, and any song that has compelling meaning, soothing rhythm and beats to satisfy my ears. In college I hope to pursue my passion for writing and photography in a magazine publication, and after college be part of a diverse community while capturing extraordinary events around the world. As a wise senior, I encourage the upcoming students to always work not just hard, but intelligently.
