Ms. Bonner is a history teacher at Inlet Grove High School. Her classroom is located in building one, room 105. Ms. Bonner said she sees her classroom as a place where students can learn more and there are posters and writings that she has put up to help students do so.
“I would describe my classroom as a positive learning environment,” said Ms. Bonner.
Ms. Bonner said that her favorite thing in her classroom is the best part of the classroom which is the 5 parts of the spectrum that are written on her board. “I created it and I think it’s effective,” said Ms. Bonner.
Ms. Bonner said that her least favorite thing about her classroom is the space. “I wish it was larger so I could have more kids and more space,” said Ms. Bonner.
Ms. Bonner said she does not decorate her classroom but she writes on her whiteboards every day. “I do not decorate my classroom because I like effective organization that makes it easier for kids to learn,” said Ms. Bonner. “So I update my boards every day”.
Ms. Bonner does not think she has the best classroom in the history department. “I do not plan to be the best I plan to be effective,” said Ms.Bonner.
“I think Ms. Bonner has the best classroom, her classroom has all the components that a history teacher classroom should have,” said Sheranah Dorcent, a senior in the medical academy.
Sheranah said that her favorite thing in Ms. Bonner’s classroom is the Presidents of the United States poster. “It helped me learn all the presidents of the United States and it helped throughout some of the tests we got”.
Ms. Bonner has had her history classroom for a couple of years. “I’ve been in this classroom for 5 years,” said Ms.Bonner. Ms.Bonner said that she views her classroom as a space that is effective for her student’s learning.
“My classroom is effective and organized,” said Ms. Bonner.
