OCEAN EXIRIENCES : Students got a hands- on experience when the Florida Marine Academy visited in their Mobile Marine Lab. Students from different classes were taught about Florida's waterways, got to work with virtual sand, interact with sea creatures and play with a virtual fishing simulator.

FINS UP: Florida Fishing Academy took Inlet Grove's Outboard Marine Academy deep sea fishing in Peanut Island Nov.2."The students had an amazing time learning all about the marine ecosystem",Said Marine Science Instructor, Mr. Rice. "We caught numerous fish and went swimming by Peanut Island. The students caught some fish they were able to take home and eat. The students all said they were delicious!"

INLET WINS AGAIN: Well deserved recognition for Mr. McDermott who was awarded Career and Technical Education Assistant Principal of the Year honors at last night's annual dinner. Congratulations also to Medical Academy Instructor Dr. Remedios Tellez (CTE High School Teacher category) and Marine Science Instructor Mr. Rice (CTE Rookie Teacher category) for being nominated. "They are winners in my book," said Nurse Blair. Earlier, Culinary Academy senior Yolnicka Jeune was crowned 2018 Career and Technology Education Student of the Year.
