Hola! I am Angie Garcia, a senior in the Journalism Academy, and one of the cool editors-in-chief of GroveWatch.com. I alsoΒ amΒ editor for the thirdΒ consecutive year ofΒ our schoolβs ForecastΒ magazine.Β I am skilled in all aspects of our school's Multimedia Wheel, fromΒ photography to videography, web design to InDesign.Β I joined the Journalism AcademyΒ to improve my writing skills and to gainΒ more knowledge ofΒ the world.Β Among my many activities on campus, I am a member of National Honor Society, an executive officer of the Multimedia Club and a memberΒ of the soccer team.Β I also likeΒ playing volleyball and especially team handball. I enjoy classic rock 'n' roll, andΒ any song that has compelling meaning, soothing rhythm and beats to satisfy my ears. In college I hope to pursue my passion for writing and photography in a magazine publication, and after college be part ofΒ a diverse community whileΒ capturing extraordinary events around the world.Β As a wise senior, I encourage the upcoming students to always work not just hard, but intelligently.
