I’m a sophomore in the TV Production Academy. I plan on going to college after I  graduate. I enjoy learning new things all the time, also I am very open minded about everything. My goal is to achieve the most and take the most advantages in Journalism, since there are so many opportunities in this field. Though it is hard to be recognized, I’m willing to give my all to this course, so that my hard work can stand out for itself.

ROLE MODELS: The School Improvement club (S.I.C.) is putting in the work. Even in the current cold weather, members stayed after school to work on the garden. A difference starts with one person; little by little S.I.C. members are contributing to making their school a better place.

HOLIDAY JOY: The School Improvement Club (S.I.C.) has brought festivity and joy to Inlet Grove. For the first time ever, members made a proposal to uplift school spirit by bringing in the Spirit Tree. In order to get the proposal in action , they had to get it approved by Dr. Banks and their fellow Canes. The Spirit Tree is meant for students to decorate and write positive wishes for the holidays. It is non-denominational and for every student to enjoy.
The purpose of the Spirit Tree is to create a positive atmosphere. It is a school project for all students to enjoy.

Afterward they prepared invitations for the 3rd Annual Car Show, working as a team to fold, stamp and address them to be sent to classic car owners to register for the show coming back to Inlet Grove on Feb. 10, 2018.

PICK IT UP: The school garden was previously ruined by Hurricane Irma. School Improvement Club (S.I.C.) members take time out of lunch on Nov. 15 and begin to work on it, pulling out weeds , picking up leaves, and disposing of any trash in the area. Cleanups will be conducted every other week after school.
