Hi, my name is Lovely Marcelus. I am a Junior in the Pre-law academy. A few of my interests and hobbies include reading mysteries and thrillers and watching action shows and movies. I have been a part of Grovewatch since my freshman year. I love picking up a camera to capture a moment, and in the future, I will go into the Multimedia industry and pursue becoming a lawyer.

A STEP TOWARD THE FUTURE: "We stand here today and entering a new chapter in life, some of us will go off to college and university and others will go directly into the workforce. Challenges will be ahead of us but I want you to take these challenges head-on and regardless of how you do it, people will always criticize you. The Great Hank Aaron had once said: “ The only thing that feels better than winning is when nobody else thought you could”. My senior class tonight we up ya hear me?". Words were spoken by the 2023 senior class president Eli Baptiste. The class of 2023 on the night of May 22nd did the very thing they worked for the past four years, so they walked the stage and turned their tassels to the right. They are longer students but young adults of the future.

AN ENRICHING EXPERIENCE: "So come on equality your name means equal , equal justice , equal rights , equal housing, equal schools, and equal opportunity! Justice is something everyone should enjoy, but I say everyone must have justice, justice does not always stand by the people, justice does not always stand up for what is right, and justice does not alway stand by people of color." Inspiring words spoken by 8 year old Julia Vital. The celebration of not only Martin Luther King jr, but the striving paths of younger and older generations have created or are on their way too. The event was held on January 16th at the PBC Convention center.
