GIVE IT UP FOR SPORTS: Terry Bradden Jr. hosted this year's sports banquet where Inlet Grove's student athletes were recognized, along with Bradden, other coaches, and even his mother, Carolyn Bradden. New Athletic Director Michael Timpson was the keynote speaker, May 6 at the Fayson-Mitchell Multi-Purpose Center. Bradden has accepted a position as a graduate assistant at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, where he will coach quarterbacks.

LET'S COMPETE: Inlet Grove'sΒ RoboticΒ Team competed at the FIRSTΒ RoboticΒ World Champions in St.Louis, Missouri last week and made it to the semi-finals which was said to be one of the tough divisions. The members (L-R) Edward Smith, Emmanuel Marcelin, the team's teacher sponsor,Β Grayson Grinner,Β Alex CoteΒ andΒ Ricardo Martinez went against teams from all around the world as more then 12 countries were represented at the event.

WE ARE THE WORLD: The YMCA Stand Against Racism Luncheon featured Hall of Fame NCAA football coach Willie Jeffries as keynote speaker on April 28 at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. Attending from Inlet were (from left) Zariya Townsend, Osmara Salazar, Joseph Mondesir, Nailah McKoy, Moses Baker, Alexia Ayers, Ruolls Germain and Kaisha Nembhard. The students  said a pledge to show their commitment to Stand Against Racism.

BUCKLE UP: The football field was flooded with police cars, firetrucks and a helicopter for an assembly on teen driving safety and education,Β as prom comes near. The presentation and lesson was held on Monday April 4. Inlet's students acted out events during and after being in a car crash as a speaker narrated the whole act.
