MODERN WORLD: The Hurricanes returned to the Florida Scholastic Press Association (FSPA) District 7 workshop, this year at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Nov.16. 
During the annual trip organized by Mr. Hanif and with Ms. Baker helping as a chaperone, students went to different sessions about Journalism and met professional and award-winning journalists.

REGISTER TODAY: In response to National Voter Registration Day on Sept. 24, the League of Women Voters organization had tables set up at lunch on Sept. 25 in front of the cafeteria. Voter Services Committee's representative on Voter Rights Restoration Coalition, Robin Sambur is directing Hannah Snow, Senior in the Journalism academy to the table where she will fill out the registration form. Only students 16 and older are able to register.
